When it comes to teaching values to your children and instilling in them the attributes that lead to productive, successful lives you need a way to make learning fun for all.
I've always been interested in what makes people (adults and
children) emotionally fit and what helps them
develop
strong values and positive attributes. And, of course, in how to
make learning fun!
And it was my song-writing experience, while serving as the Ambassador of FUN
for the highly successful Southwest Airlines, that brought me to understand how
fun words and catchy music, combined with life affirming messages can
change the way people think about themselves, their
circumstances and others around them.
Parents soon reported using these songs to help
instill character-building
habits and attributes into the lives of family members. And, of course,
all seemed to appreciate the good old - nothing to offend - it's about time -
y-e-a-h! - G-rated fun!
Donnovan Davisson of Puyallup, WA emailed Tony to
report he purchased copies of Tony's songs for his children as Christmas
presents, because these children were raised on the songs and told him that's
what they really wanted for Christmas - to use with their own children!

Dr. Don Michel, chairman of the TWU (Texas Women's University, Denton, TX) Music
Therapy Department used some of my Tony Tunes songs in a research
project studying the impact of fun songs on emotional states. Some of
those involved in the experiment included out-placed executives from the
Dallas/Fort Worth, TX metro-plex, as well as stressed out college students.
After listening to 5 Feel-Good songs, the results showed significant (positive)
statistical changes in the emotional states of 100% of the participants!

Tony is the former Ambassador of FUN for the highly
successful Southwest Airlines.
Tony has been intimately involved in helping business leaders connect with their employees, change corporate culture, and promote a healthy, productive environment in meetings and the workplace.
After conceiving a unique way to generate PR for Southwest Airlines as a keynote speaker and creating a highly successful way to present stress management information to 2000 Southwest employees, Tony became their "Goodwill Ambassador."
Tony later earned Southwest Airlines President's Award for exemplifying the spirit of enthusiasm, fun, sincerity and *love* (caring, which is Southwest Airlines, and for sharing that spirit creatively through employee development programs.
Now
self-employed as a full time keynote speaker, Tony is known as the "Ambassador
of Fun", and continues to provide customer care and employee development
programs for Southwest Airlines.

Yes. Tony and Charlotte have been married since 1970. They have raised six children and currently have nine grandchildren.
